Two Museums, Two States, Too Good!

I have been a absent  from the blogosphere for awhile, ending up summer, trying to grab that last little bit to invigorate me for the coming season, our season!

Not to mention having our noses in our designs, and having fun making new things for you.

Recently a lot has been selling off the rack, so designing new, and restocking.

It turns out the Art World does embrace The Craft World!

which Toshiki picked out just for her..I hope you are having as wonderful a time in Philadelphia at the Craft Show as we had; this was our 30th Philadelphia Craft Show Preview as visitors, as well as our 39th Wedding Anniversary “date night”..

If you have an opportunity, I hope you can drop by Meghan Patrice Riley’s booth;
she is a young, very talented designer & maker of jewelry, who now lives in Greenwich Village, NYC, not all that far from you…. Meghan has a wonderful, contagious kind of energy, and an abiding love of design. Joyce bought some everyday earrings from her this year, which will also go with the three tiny, yellow diamond eternity rings we ordered from Namu Cho, and the amazing suede & fleece jacket from both of you…

Preview Wednesday Evening, 11/6

The Show is presented annually by the Craft Show Committee & Women’s Committee for the benefit of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  18,000 + attend the show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Your ticket funds are used to purchase works of art and craft for the permanent collections, support educational programs and contribute to conservation and publication projects.

So don’t miss out on a very special opportunity to meet the finest craft artists in the country, learn their story and purchase their work.

Their is excitement in the air as you move from booth to booth where the crafts exhibited embrace a striking variety of forms and functions in

36th Annual PMA Craft Show

in the category of Leather

The show will be held November 7-10 at the

Convention Center

Upscale Craft in the Berkshires

If you have been to the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, The American Craft Exposition in Evanston, Ill, The Washington or Westchester Craft Show, or any of the other top shows in the country, then you won’t want to miss The Berkshire Craft Fair, coming to town next week. Many of the same artists are exhibiting here. Small by comparison, it is a fundraiser for a wonderful high school that is not ignoring the arts, and in a community that is steeped in creativity with Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, Mass Moca, all in the area. The scale of the show makes for a good relaxed shopping experience before you head out to enjoy the rest of what the area has to offer.  Visit our booth to see Toshiki  and Maryszka shearlings, in the hall by the food court.
