The way we do business, participating in juried shows over the years , traveling to different areas of the country, to often very interesting locations, most recently The Chicago Botanic Garden…. is a very personal experience……we make friends with other Artisans, meet their families, many of who come to help out at the show, or just drop by to catch up. Friendships also develop with clients and and their famillies……..that have followed our work over the years.

We just finished our first 3 show of this season, and I wanted to share some pics of good times, good friendships and families.

an event put on by Artrider, a family owned business we have been showing with for about 30 years!

And yes, we will all be catching up on whats been going on!

The Hampton Classic Starts Sunday!

Getting super excited to bring our work to the enthusiastic crowd at the Hampton Classic!

Located on Snake Hollow Rd. in Bridgehampton, NY, come enjoy all there is to offer at this prestigious event in “The Hamptons”

It’s the perfect time to get first dibs on our shearlings, or order your special size or color combination to timely delivery

The Boutique Garden will be open from 9 – 5 during event week,
except Monday when the shopping hours are 10-4.
The dates for the 2014 Hampton Classic are August 24 – 31.

We are home, mentally full, & physically exhausted from an eight day show in Bridgehampton.

Lots happened.

Sales, weather (all kinds), meeting many new people, fishing & beach time, viewing glamour, Hamptons shopping, eating great food………

One of the highlights of the week was being invited to a party at Snake Hollow Studio, and getting to meet the artist Lynn Matsuoka, and birdhouse/furniture designer Keith Barker, whose warm hospitality and group of friends will be fondly remembered.

Shopping The Hampton Classic Boutique Garden & Stable Row

If you mainly want to shop, and get the ambience of the show, or you want to come twice, here are some tips!

Entrance is free on Monday!

There’s limited competition that day – just riders with disabilities finals.

It’s also ASPCA Adoption Day!

 It’s a great day to encourage friends to come if their focus is shopping as it’s no charge at the gate!

Another tip – if you bring 3 or more non-perishable food items on Tuesday or Wednesday, your whole carload will get in free. The donations will go to the Sag Harbor Food Pantry.

Some shows are definitely more fun to do than others, and The Hampton Classic is on the top of the list.

Located in the bustling Long Island resort area known as “The Hamptons”,  this is a very well produced upscale event.

The eye candy is amazing.

We will have our full collection in the Boutique Garden,

so drive, Jitney, or LIRR it out here, from this weekend sunday-Sept 1!

The Best Leather & Shearling @ The Hampton Classic

It is always so inspiring to meet others in your field who are at the top of their game, whose hearts beat faster when they feel they have finished stitching a perfect piece.

Here at The Hampton Classic where we are showing our shearlings, we have met two leather craftsmen who are making exquisite work.

One is Charles Pinnell, from Crozet, Va., who told us he got hooked on working in leather when he was 16. I will post a few photographs, because there are no words to describe how great the work is.
