Feeling Blue

Feeling blue on this very rainy day, that does not feel

like spring.

Somehow this image of Michaela in our color block fringed jacket fits my melancholy mood.  It’s a one of a kind, and available….size six.

Call me.

And by the way, in reference to my last post,

we didn’t make the cut.

Feeling Blue.

All Time Fave

I post a lot of pics of our peplam style jacket

She is so cute, so sexy, so unlike your notion of what a shearling is……… so unbulky!

And she is loved and purchased by many.

But our most popular and best selling style is one that doesn’t photograph with as much pizazz, so I tend not to post as many shots of it.

We call it our Swing Coat, albeit it is a modified version of a swing.

It is so comfortable, fits over anything, comfort of a jacket, but functions like a coat, and with the fine lambskin edging and tailoring, a class act that will take you anywhere.

Here is one of the more subdued versions, bright colors and other details in stock as well.

Berkshires Throwback

I have often said The Berkshire Craft Show is my favorite show to do.

Kicks off our season in early August, and we are nonstop from then on.

So relaxed, and so much to do besides the show!

Culture abounds!

Here are some memories from 2012! The next show is coming soon, August 8-12

Happy New Year!

This picture I took at the Post Office on 34th St. saturday has nothing to do with anything but COLD, and that is our inspiration.

I love the cold (when I am dressed for it)

2˚ saturday, 57˚ today

Shockingly cold forecast for tonight.

If you didn’t pop for that shearling at a show this fall, we are working on new designs and colors to kick off the season at ACC Baltimore

Can’t wait till then?

Long Island Livestock Company to Craft Boston

What an incredible way to end a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, a visit to The Long Island Livestock Company’s  holiday open house

We met Tabbethia & her wonderful company making all lotions lanolin and beautiful yarns when we were both exhibiting at The Hampton Classic

The visuals of these beautiful animals, their big eyes and curious looks, are captivating and take you to another place

I feel so rejuvenated as I pack up our shearling coats and head to Craft Boston, this weekend, at

The Hynes Convention Center

Trying to Control the Chaos Before Philly!

Some things racing thru our minds as time draws near to pack up for

The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show.

Are we doing our very best?

Can we squeeze in one more piece?

What color? What trim?

Do we really need to sleep much between now and when we leave tuesday morning?

Shopping The Hampton Classic Boutique Garden & Stable Row

If you mainly want to shop, and get the ambience of the show, or you want to come twice, here are some tips!

Entrance is free on Monday!

There’s limited competition that day – just riders with disabilities finals.

It’s also ASPCA Adoption Day!

It’s a great day to encourage friends to come if their focus is shopping as it’s no charge at the gate!

Another tip – if you bring 3 or more non-perishable food items on Tuesday or Wednesday, your whole carload will get in free. The donations will go to the Sag Harbor Food Pantry.

See my previous post for more info, and Like us on Facebook for updated news.

See you in the Boutique Garden!

Blue Dream

The Hampton Classic!

Some shows are definitely more fun to do than others, and The Hampton Classic is on the top of the list.

Located in the bustling Long Island resort area known as “The Hamptons”,  this is a very well produced upscale event.

The eye candy is amazing.

We will have our full collection in the Boutique Garden,

so drive, Jitney, or LIRR it out here, from this weekend sunday-Sept 1!

Like Buttah! Toshiki and Maryszka Shearlings Come to The Berkshires

We never like (& neither do our clients) light colored shearling in suede because of the care, but when we found this incredibly soft camel napalan finish with buttercream frosting, (I mean wool), we had to have it. The tannery in Spain delivered in time for us to make a few pieces, this slim swing trimmed with some new lambskin colors we purchased in France.

First showing this weekend in Great Barrington, Ma, at the Berkshire Craft Show , August 9-11

You can also purchase handbags from Dick & Dianne Muller, Michelle Lalonde, and shoes from Rob & Barbara Matthews!

Full list of exhibitors

It’s a very upscale show in a beautiful setting with lots to do in the area and great food to eat, so come and enjoy

The Collar of the Year

You just couldn’t get enough shearling this cold winter, and cold spring, we had and are still having here in the northeast.  This new big collar design turned out to be functional, whimsical and a stylin’ hit

In our 2012 collection it was on a nipped waist jacket, can’t wait to try it on new shapes in 2013!

What do you think?

Paradise City Marlborough, Ma.

The car is packed, but we are doing some last minute photography before I catch the ferry in the morning to cross Long Island Sound and drive up to Marlboro, Ma to show our new work to our very loyal (who most likely wore out their winter coats this season!) Massachusetts customers.

This new girl is coming with me.

She is a size sixteen, but of course can be made to measure.

Belt is separate, worn without, a semi swing.

So make plans this weekend to come by!

We have a great show for you!

Laurie Goddard will be there, Frittelli & Lockwood, Ann Brauer, Ayala Naphtali, Patty Bolz, Valerie Hector and more!

We are in booth 151

Styling Shearling

You know if Michelle Obama was wearing anything, she would grab a belt to create a look.

So we tried it on our mannequin, I think she looks sharp!

Yes, our shearlings are light and supple enough to belt without bulk.

Come see them this weekend, in New Jersey,

at Craft Morristown!
