and we have been working hard to bring some lighter spring colors in our shearling collection, as well as some Lambskins to order, and our popular cowls for that ultimate neck warmer with any jacket. Stop by my booth #7-5035 to see!
Yesterday here in the Northeast we got a little taste of spring. I have heard many New Yorkers say recently, enough black! And I couldn’t agree more during this time of seasonal and mood transition………lighten up, and consider color! Either the base color of a coat, or so many trim combinations, you can add a lightness to enjoy while still keeping warm…..Come see us at one of our next shows for a look at what we have been working on!
The way we do business, participating in juried shows over the years , traveling to different areas of the country, to often very interesting locations, most recently The Chicago Botanic Garden…. is a very personal experience……we make friends with other Artisans, meet their families, many of who come to help out at the show, or just drop by to catch up. Friendships also develop with clients and and their famillies……..that have followed our work over the years.
We just finished our first 3 show of this season, and I wanted to share some pics of good times, good friendships and families.
It’s that time of year again, your thoughts turn to fall…..
You can stay on the beach or in the mountains, stroll the botanic garden,
and take a break to visit our new collection right in the places you love the most!

I can honestly say I feel well rested and getting back to being organized, my desk is cleared off, the orders are in order, and ready to design and make new things, after participating in two big shows last week.
Before leaving for The Smithsonian Craft Show last week, we completed an item that had been in the works in our heads for a few months, and I couldn’t be more excited after wearing it at the show. Only having time to make one, I took it on an off as a sample (so easy to slip over the head, or zip down the back) for try ons. And everyone that tried it on wound up ordering it! Thank you for inspiring us! We will be making more of these over the summer. Such a blank palette, beautiful as it is, but the possibilities are endless! Made of beautiful French Lambskin, this Tunic is going to be my go to item, and the FEEL of it is amazing!
Our copy of this wonderful book, written by our peers, under the editorial guidance of David Bacharach, Valerie Hector, Ken Girardini and Susan Levi-Goerlich, arrived this weekend. A very ambitious project by all involved to document some of our stories and history of this modern Craft movement, is beautifully put together. All profits from the sale of the book will benefit CERF+, an invaluable safety net for artisans.
And if you participate in this movement as a collector, you have kept us going, and this is part of your story too! Pick up a copy.
History is being written every moment, and this week we bring our new work to ACC Baltimore, we are in Booth 1601
Here we are, visually. We did not submit a story, this time.
Wether you are seeking a special one of a kind jacket, or a simple every day, beautifully made, functional, coat,we will work with you to select and/or make the perfect shearling, to best enhance you and your wardrobe!
Our skins are of the ultimate lightness, and our construction techniques eliminate bulk, so you can enjoy your very special jacket, off the rack or custom fit, for years to come.
Hope to see you!
We will be serving up some serious “BUTTAH” at our upcoming shows …….just look at these new skins that came in, and imagine how soft and supple they are…napa finish silky merino…..Find out what will will design with these, or have some input on what would be perfect for you!
